NovaPump GmbH has been awarded first place at the Lothar Späth Award 2021 for entrepreneurship. NovaPump was honoured together with its innovation partners from Jena, the University Hospital Jena (UKJ) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Optics and Precision Engineering (IOF), for the joint development of the novel percutaneous and pulsatile right heart pump PERKAT RV.
In the brochure of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) "Innovations in Medical Technology", published in spring 2021, a total of 20 medical technology companies from Germany are presented in detail, whose product innovations are intended to improve patient care and the performance of the healthcare system in particular.
Among these 8 projects respectively innovative med-tech companies, which have developed modern and future-oriented products and therapy approaches, also two projects of our NovaPump GmbH are presented in detail in the article "Herzschlagfinale" (in German). We are pleased about this current recognition.
